TOM STONE

Thomas Stone was born at Pointon Manor in Charles County, Maryland in 1743 and died on October 5, 1787. He was an wealthy planter who signed the United States Declaration of Independence as a delegate for Maryland. He worked on the committee who drafted the Articles of Confederation in 1777, later became President of Congress in 1784, and a state senator in Maryland.
