ALBRECHT RODENBACH

Albrecht Rodenbach was born Oct. 27, 1856 in Roeselare, Belgium and died on June 23, 1880 in the same city. He was a Flemish poet who helped to inspire the late 1870s revival in Flemish literature that was used to counteract the growing French influence in Belgium.
